63rd Bishop

Loughlin Games

Dear Coaches,

We would again like to thank you for joining us at the 2016 Bishop Loughlin Games.

With the combination of incredible athletes and a fantastic facility, we expect amazing early season performances to be achieved this Saturday.

On this Website you will find the following information:

  • An UPDATED time schedule
  • Important facility information
  • Parking Map
  • Entry Form*

*For teams who have not yet completed the required document, see list below.
Please take the time and look over all the information carefully.
All events are broken down into division; Red, White, and Blue.  Please make sure your athletes are aware of what division they will be competing in.  The divisions will allow all athletes to warm-up correctly and not have to sit in the clerking areas for an extended period of time.   In all field events, only those athletes in the Red division will be eligible to compete in the finals.  Please carefully check the heat sheets and bring any problems or concerns to our attention prior to Saturday.

All initial clerking will take place on the ground level of the complex at the end of the warm-up track.  During first call the athletes will report to the clerking table to pick up their hip numbers.  Once all athletes are checked in and hipped they will then be moved to the secondary staging area on track level prior to their event.  Field event athletes should check in at the field event when the event is called.

Only 1/4" pyramid spikes are permitted at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.  Athletes will be able to purchase the correct spikes at the spike check table for $5.00.

Baton will be provided - athletes should not bring school batons with them to the starting line, please leave them behind.

Official Bishop Loughlin Games Merchandise will be on sale in the second floor atrium area.  Live results will be available on OceanBreezeNYC.org or by downloading the Active Track Meet app and live video feed will be provided by Milesplit.

Along with the grandstands, we now have additional seating along the back stretch of the track as well as on both turns.  We encourage teams to use all the seating around the track. Any athletes not warming up or cooling down must be on track level or outside the building, athletes will not be permitted to hang out on the warm-up track area.

We ask that the following teams to complete the attached entry form prior to arriving at Ocean Breeze, this will speed up the check in process when you arrive at the complex with your team.  Please e-mail the form prior to arriving on Saturday to Phil Zodda at pzodda@hotmail.com.
